CAN I ORGANIZE A FUNDRAISING EVENT AT MY HOME?
YES! We would love if you held a fundraising event or other type of fundraiser on behalf of After Action.
Please reach out to us so that we can help you work out the details.
IS YOUR ORGANIZATION TRANSPARENT?
Yes. We file our 990 every year and believe in transparency with our donations and services.
If you have a question, we are happy to answer it!
HOW MUCH OF MY DONATION DIRECTLY SUPPORTS THE CAUSE?
Currently your donations will go to providing service navigation, life coaching services and financial literacy and business management services for our participants as well as some overhead such as technology management (websites and email). We also plan to save as much as possible so that we can expand our services in the future to include temporary housing, skilled trade and traditional education, job placement assistance, and access to entrepreneurship for our participants.
All members of After Action - other than third party providers - are currently 100% volunteers. We do hope to be able to change that in the future so that we can keep the amazing people working for us and attract new candidates to our mission - and your donations will help us do that!
